This computer graphics is inspired by a pool situated in the flat roof of a hotel. The scene is presented as well as a very attractive view very appropriate for the game of funds and lighting that it was intended to show. For greater contrast are raised two options that not only changed in environment but is also varied the time of day by choosing two different moments in the type of light. By this way we was able to have, based on the same scene two completely different visions and with a contribution of feelings opposite. In this first version, the environment remains similar to the original, keeping the point of view of urban flat roof. The illumination was adjusted at a time close to sunrise. It has reinforced the feeling of sunrise keeping cool tones of the scene, typical of the cold temperature of this hour.
As shown in the second option it has totally changed the feeling produced. It has invested horizontally the scene to differentiate them. The time of day, here a point close to noon, is totally different from before. The light is strong and vertical producing highly contrasted shadows. The fund places us in a summer environment perhaps a townhouse located near the coast with wonderful sea views.
You can also see the difference produced in water by the changing of lighting. Water is the same, but simply changing the lighting they seem totally different. In this case the textures do not change but simply the light, that to find high-quality textures reacts with total realism. The tone of the water does not match the sea, a detail that they are always allowed.
Here we can see in detail the effect of shadows caused by the time of day. Specifically these, so pronounced and directed towards the camera gives us the dark side of objects, wrapping in the sense of emerging light dawn.
The scene is kept very clean in terms of objects, leaving the leading role to light. The few objects we find can appreciate the realism of the scene.
